HOME COOKING: RED LOBSTER’S BEST RECIPES YOU CAN DO AT HOME – HERE ARE THE RECIPES FOR RED LOBSTER’S MOST POPULAR DISHES.

Bill Darden wanted to open a new family-oriented restaurant.  One where family values and enjoyment meant everything.  But he didn’t want yet another fast-food place with a copycat burger menu.

He wanted a happy, welcoming seafood restaurant offering high-quality food using delicious traditional recipes.  So in 1968, Bill opened his first RED LOBSTER RESTAURANT in Lakeland, beautiful central Florida. Success!

Over the next few years, RED LOBSTER locations increased, even into Canada.

And his menu expanded. Always fresh, always inventive, Bill’s menu included lobster (of course!), crab, shrimp, scallops, mussels, fish fillet, Sockeye salmon and more.  As well as their popular Cheese Biscuits and Desserts.

Today, you can stroll into a restaurant “inspired by the historic fishing village of Bar Harbor, Maine,” and be offered a menu with seafood cooked in a variety of ways, including wood-fire grills — a joyful experience.

And this family appreciates the genuine attention the RED LOBSTER ownership pays to our sacred Earth.

From using eco-friendly paper straws to partnering with the Trash Free Seas Alliance, the Global Ghost Gear Initiative and Ocean Conservancy.

And when we can’t get out to a restaurant, This Ol’ Cook loves to heat up the stove and prepare a traditional Maritime Provinces meal.  And sometimes that’s our favourite RED LOBSTER Meal:
